Refunds/Exchange Policy 

We currently do not offer returns/exchanges on our products but we certainly want you to be more than satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, please contact us within 10 business days of receiving your item to explain the situation and we will do our best to make things right!

All custom orders are made to order based on the client’s specific preferences therefore not returnable under any circumstance.

Load-Ins | Clearances

With all orders, we ask that our clients compare the measurements of the furniture being ordered to the clearances of all doors and hallways within the home or business. Our skilled and knowledge movers are happy to load-in furniture and we want to ensure there is no delivery day disappointment.  It is important to know that all furniture can be delivered and through all entryways, doorways, up stairwells, down halls and around corners into the desired location. Floyd Rustic is not responsible for furniture that does not fit within the desired space and client will be responsible for paying the delivery fee and 10% of the total order fee (if a custom order) if the item must be returned due to not fitting into the desired space.

Delivery Guidelines

We know that it is not feasible for every client to drive to Floyd, VA and pick up their furniture, so we are happy to offer delivery as an option.

Delivery is currently available to the following states – Virginia, Washington D.C., Maryland, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and Kentucky – with the possibility of other states upon request. Contact us with your delivery location prior to placing your order and we will send over a delivery quote. Minimum deliver fee is $40.

Floyd Rustic is located in Floyd, VA but does offer regional delivery to a variety of states. If you have selected delivery, please note that we do need to schedule the delivery with others in your state. We will communicate with you on timing as we coordinate our calendar and appreciate your flexibility.

Local Pickup

Picking up furniture from our Floyd VA workshop is always an option at no additional cost. We encourage you to take the beautiful drive on the Blue Ridge and come visit our charming one-stoplight mountain town!

Disclaimer

The natural process of expansion and contraction occurring in wooden furniture is not new or exclusive to Floyd Rustic wooden pieces. Wood of all species is hygroscopic, meaning that it is subject to the humidity and temperature of its environment. All wood products will absorb and release moisture for a lifetime. To avoid cracks and splits in the wood or moving/warping boards, keep the indoor humidity levels between 35% and 45%. Suggestions – run a humidifier in the winder and an a/c or de-humidifier in the summer.Avoid placing furniture in direct sunlight from windows or near other heat sources such as stoves, radiators, wood stoves, fireplaces, heat/air vents, etc. Never store furniture in an attic, basement or damp areas.

Cleaning and Care Recommendations

Avoid dusting with a dry or old cloth as this may scratch finish. Clean up spills immediately. Avoid polish containing ammonia or silicon. Dust with a soft damp cloth by following the wood grain. Use soft cloth (100% cotton ideal) if your furnishings or tabletop get soiled, use mild dish soap and warm water to wipe clean and buff dry. Do not use ammonia, windex, pledge or any strong cleaners.
